Stephen Shortland – Founder and Managing Director

Professional Playing Career: Wasps, Harlequins, Brisbane and Blackheath.

Representative Honours: England Squad, England U21, England A, England Students.

Coaching Career: England U16s Head Coach, England U17s, England U18s, Premiership Pathway Academy Coach (London Irish), Southwest U21s Head Coach, Young England 7s Coach, Level 4 Coach. 

Teaching Career: Director of Sport at Millfield School and Wellington College, two of the largest private rugby playing schools in the UK. Winning 10 National 15s & 7s titles. 

During his time at Wellington College, Stephen brought all 32 sports on offer up to a high-performance standard and guided its senior rugby teams to become consistently one of the best sides in the country where they continue to sit today. Over the years he has helped an astonishingly high number of players to achieve international honours, professional contracts, university playing places, club contracts and career opportunities worldwide. Stephen continues to coach and mentor a number of current and potential professional rugby players and was awarded a lifetime membership to the England Rugby Football Union in 2021 for his services to rugby coaching.
