Academic Programme

Richmond American University London

Gain a UK & US Degree from the UK’s pioneering Liberal Arts and Business Studies University (established in 1972).

Richmond American University London, situated in the innovative and award winning Chiswick Park in West London, offers its students the opportunity to study at the state of the art campus and the chance to graduate with not only a UK accredited degree but also a US degree.

The university’s degrees are accredited in the United States by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and are validated in the UK by the Open University Validation Services (OUVS). Richmond American University London was the first university in the UK to be doubly validated in this way. Classes run on the American semester system (September to December and January to April).

What can I study

The dual accreditation nature of all of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses provides a unique level of flexibility for our UK, US and International athletes to:

transfer earned credits into the Sport Ed Ex programme from their existing US University; or
earn credits which can be transferred back to their elected US University.

So, for example, a student could transfer into the Sport Ed Ex programme as a sophomore, junior or, could join the Sport Ed Ex programme in his or her freshman year, complete one or two years in the Sport Ed Ex programme (including with one of our Worldwide Sport and Academic Partners) and then transfer back to their chosen US university in each case, without having to extend the length of their degree or postgraduate course.
